This website is primarily for the distribution of the ResNet Bandwidth Widget. There's not much here at the moment, we'll flesh it out with some installation instructions etc as time goes on.
To use most of the apps below, you'll need to get a key from My ResNet.
If you're a developer who would like easy access to the source code for this gadget, or if you want to build your own application using the ResNet Bandwidth API you can download the source code here and have a play! Be sure to read the contents of the "docs" folder before you start! |
The following applications have been developed to use our API, but they weren't developed by the University of Bristol. So while we think they're super-awesome we can't provide any support for them at all. Sorry!

ResNet Monitor - a bandwidth monitoring application for Android phones, from Dan Gilbert of daentech.co.uk, built using our public API. As well as monitoring your ResNet usage for the current week, it will automatically warn you when you go over 80% of your bandwidth allowance. You can install this on your phone by searching for "resnet monitor" in the Android marketplace, or by clicking ResNet Monitor link from your handset. |

ResNetApp - a bandwidth monitoring app for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad running iOS 3.0 or later. This one was built by Tom Grimwood-Taylor using our public API. You can install this on your phone by searching for "resnet" in the AppStore, or by clicking ResNetApp link from your handset. |
